Grunwald International Mounted Archery Games

I am very happy with how my first competition as Senior/Young Rider went!

I had an amazing horse Geronimo who worked his heart out for me during the competition!

I won the Tower track and had a run I am quite happy with where I shot 32 points. You can see the video of that run here:

And the rest of the runs went quite well. It was the first time I could keep stable results in most runs, which for me matters even more then overall scores.

However I did manage to mess up my last run going just over time limit and making a nocking mistake.. so at least always something to improve on…

And I managed to get a bronze medal on the Hunt track!

There were no awards given for overall winner but overall I got first place following the official IHAA HBAE rules. There was also the Qabaq track using a different rule set. With the Qabaq counted I got second place overall with less then one percent to the first place.

So overall I had a great time at the Grunwald International Mounted Archery Games!

This competition was part of the European Grand Prix Series. With Kimo den Braber I was part of the Dutch team.

I shared Geronimo with Arum Nazlus Shobah from Indonesia!

And of course I had a lot of fun on the ground too!
