At the last moment we decided to take James with us on our holiday to Texel and it was the best decision ever! Very happy and grateful that Danielle and Henk from the Eagles Ranch created a Houdini proof space for him. He had a great time with the mares and foals on one side, their owners included and other young horses and small farm animals at the other side.
After weeks of not riding because of my injury I started to train again, in the arena, on the beach and in the forest.
James loved the forest, going up and down hill.
It was very special to enjoy Texel, where I have been on holidays since I was born, from such a new angle. Getting to know people and their horses and even giving some horseback archery training. At the last day of our stay Danielle gave me a lesson which was really useful for me. Thank you all so much.
It was hard to go home again after such a great time, seeing James becoming the horse he really is. Brave, powerful, sweet and caring. We hope to see you all again in the near future!
